Presentation of new approaches to VAT administration at "Electronic Finance Center" JSC: the concept of a 'Mousetrap' for one-day companies

Today, on March 12, 2024 the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an important presentation of new approaches to the administration of value added tax (VAT) at JSC «E-Finance Center»

The event was organized at the invitation of the Ministry of Finance and gathered important participants, including deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, representatives of NCE «Atameken» and experts in the field of finance.

The event was opened by the First Vice-Minister for Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the presentation, the concept of creating a «Mousetrap» for shell companies was presented. The Ministry of Finance spoke about plans to introduce VAT advance payments only for newly established companies, thus excluding long-term operating enterprises that regularly and timely fulfill their financial obligations to the state.
