Board of Directors Meeting Held at CEF JSC: Reports on Strategy Implementation and Performance Results for 2025 Presented
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Center for Electronic Finance JSC (CEF) was held, where the experts of the Company presented reports on the performance results of the past year, as well as on the progress of implementing the Digital Transformation Strategy for 2025 - 2029.
During the meeting, the speakers presented an overview of the key achievements of CEF as the leading integrator of public finance and the single operator of public procurement. The reports highlighted the following areas:
- Legislative initiatives: amendments introduced to public procurement legislation aimed at increasing transparency and supporting businesses;
- International recognition: presentation of domestic GovTech solutions and digital services on national and international platforms;
- Human capital development: expansion of staff, salary increases, implementation of KPI-based performance systems, mentoring and training programs;
- Technical development: support and modernization of the Ministry of Finance’s key information systems, including procurement, treasury, tax and customs administration systems.
The speakers also outlined progress in major projects included in the digital ecosystem of public finance:
- Public procurement: Electronic Public Procurement System (EPPS), Unified Procurement Platform (UPP);
- Financial management: treasury information systems, “Treasury-Client,” and the “Online Budget Monitoring” system;
- Data and analytics: Digital Profile of Government Agencies, Digital Map of Public Finance, Unified Repository of Accounting Transactions;
- Business services: Registry of Domestic Manufacturers, National Catalogue of Goods, Unified Entrepreneur’s Cabinet;
- Innovative technologies: expanded use of artificial intelligence, big data, and advanced analytical tools.
Following the meeting, the Board of Directors took note of the presented reports and acknowledged the significant results achieved by CEF, emphasizing the importance of continuing strategic initiatives aimed at developing the digital infrastructure of public finance.
The Center for Electronic Finance JSC reaffirms its commitment to digital transformation and its dedication to strengthening Kazakhstan’s position in the GovTech sector.
