On August 13, 2024, the Department of Digitalization of Public Procurement held a successful presentation of the Unified Procurement Platform (EPP/UPP) project as part of the "Demo day" event. During the presentation, the project manager of the ECD Department, Darkhan Smail, presented both current and implemented innovations of the EPP/UPP system.

Darkhan Smail clearly demonstrated the key functions and advantages of the Unified Procurement Platform, which will provide a single window for participation in public procurement, procurement of quasi-public sector entities and procurement of companies of "NWF "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC (goszakup.gov.kz , zakup.sk.kz , mitwork.kz ). From June 10, 2024, users can register on the platform through three available methods:

- by means of the NСА RK EDS;

- using QR code technologies;

- by means of EDS from "Gamma Technologies" LLP.

It is important to note that by the end of this year, users will retain the ability to log in and register through existing procurement platforms.

During the presentation, plans for further development of the system, interaction with other information systems and legal aspects of working with customers were also discussed. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the President's Address of September 1, 2022, which emphasized the need to create a qualitatively new public procurement system.

A centralized analytics system with public monitoring has been implemented on the platform and a "Personal Account" with personal settings for various categories of users has been upgraded. For example, current indicators for all criteria will be displayed for suppliers, including the supplier's rating, financial stability, the amount of contracts under execution, and other important data.

It should be noted that the unified platform is designed to simplify the work of users, providing the principle of "one window" in procurement procedures and providing the opportunity to connect other procurement operators.
